Table Decor DETAIL

Okay so I love attention to detail...which is why I love this picture..

And I seen on "the martha stewart show"...some wedding decoration like this...

I totally love both...I'm trying to think of a way to use both. Maybe I can make the first one as part of the escort table decor and the tulle one can be our sweetheart table [to make it stand out].

I decided to not seat the bridal party with each other because my sister has 2 kids and she needs to sit with them. So Adam and myself are going to have a "sweetheart" table.

Centerpiece idea...

I found this picture and since my colors are HOT pink and gold, I really want to have gold vases on something hotpink [table runner or table cloth].

I don't know yet but I loveee this picture!

This is what I'm going to do for the escort table!!!!!!![Maybe not as large or as many strands but something like this would be amazing...expensive BUT amazing!!!]

This is going to be one of my next projects! I ordered my paper for my DIY -invites...so while I wait for those, I need to get busy on another project.

DIY lighting?

Am I crazy for trying to "diy lighting"????.....yea but WHO CARES! lol. I remember when my friend was planning her wedding she got a quote for lighting at her wedding and it was over 1 thousand dollars. I don't want to make the room "pink" but I think adding some uplighting would look awesome.

At my location, I think one wall [or two walls] would look good with uplighting. I just need to talk to the venue about it first! I hope they don't have restrictions.

Save The Dates - 50% done!

While looking at millions of wedding related websites/blogs/bios, I came across a Save the date[std] that was a post card with detachable magnet and sticker. The colors look different here and I used 2 different computers to make it and then upload it. So I'm not even sure what colors the real postcards will be close to.

I honestly don't care that much about the colors of these but I will make sure my invitations are perfect!

I actually like the black graphic. I found just one of them by iteself and I flipped it to make it face the other way. I found the little poem online. I thought it was pretty cute!

Later today or tomorrow, I'm going to post swatches of all the colors of my wedding! Everything will mostly be Hotpink and Gold but I wanted some creamy colors, light pinks, and black to bring it all together. Like the font of all the stationary, will mostly be black plus I want to add black in my centerpieces because I think black is seeexxxxy, lol.

I love Damask....but while planning my wedding, I see millions of brides using it....over and over, for every single inch they could, THEY USED IT! SOOO I don't want to be that bride!! I think if you are going to be a damask bride....use DAMASK for the most important things.....not every single damask thing you can get your hands on.

I'm not even joking...Some girl used red and black&white damask for every inch of her wedding...for her centerpiece...she had like a vase with damask then 5 votive candles with damask prints and then a placemat with damask and table number that was damask.....it was OVERLY damask....it was gross!

Here is damask..just in case you are like...WTF is damask? lol. The center box, is covered in damask paper.



I think this card box is adorable...even though I just said I'm staying away from damask. lol. I like the IDEA but I would forsure make it to match my theme of GLAMOUR!! My boxes might be covered with SILK that is gold with some fancy feather boas and maybe some vintage brooches. We will see!!

Escort Card Table Ideas

The purpose of the escort table is to direct people to their seats.

There are tons of ideas on different ways to do this BUT I like the traditional place cards with some bling on it!

So I'm going to do the place cards like this.....





And I'm not sure how I am going to do the escort table decor.
I really like the pics below. I like the branches with crystals and balls of flowers..........but I love the big mountain of flowers.
My table will be a rectangle shape and I plan on drapping fabric like the first picture and then pin it in place with some of vintage brooches.






So I want a huge arrangement with the escort cards underneath. I just am having a hard time deciding on the arrangement. AND I love the ribbon with the circle buckle....I totally can do that!

Wedding COLORS and THEME

I am 100% sure that I want the theme.................GLAMOUR!

I'm thinking light pinks, ivory, and gold...and a little bit of black to bring it all together. I was having a hard time deciding between silver and gold but my engagement ring is gold so I chose gold.

The theme = glamorous.
Some of my ideas are..
-chandelier crystals [of course!]
-Ostrich feathers! [And I just bought some at Hobby Lobby, HALF OFF! Reg Price is 1.99 each]

-crystal strands!
-I want to make something like this for centerpieces.


Of course I would use a different container and make it taller but I have a special base to put it on. I will show you once I start working on it.

I have tons of ideas but these are the ones I thought I'd share with you!

Location Location Location!

After falling in love with a location that had horrible food and horrible cakes, I had to start looking elsewhere. :[

I visited one place and it was nice but it wasn't ME.

Then I found this other place online...and was like, I need to visit in person.....so I did.

And I loved it! <3 Then I took Adam, his parents, and my mother. Everyone loved it so we booked it!!
